Windham Mountain Going Private?

Windham is too close for lodging investment. Didn't take off at Hunter. Too many day trippers.

Windham has lots of existing lodging, including short term and seasonal rentals. Lots of second homes too. What the the "private club" thing is about is tying lift tickets to real estate. You can't rent your house if no one can get lift tickets, and you can't get lift tickets unless you book through the mountain booking service. If I'm a Windham landlord, I'm not happy about that.
