The Queen of the Hop was inspired today and made a yooge batch of sauce .....ah the aroma was magnifique.

It seems our son Dr JB is making a flying trip home from Manhattan Thursday for the long weekend . As he says the best of both worlds a beautiful winding drive thru the Dacks coupled with mom's cooking : Spaghetti Baked Pankoed Chicken beasts the next day Some Turkey chili the next day and beaucoup homemade desserts and some RnR

As he says the best of both worlds a beautiful winding drive thru the blazing color of The Dacks coupled with mom's cooking : Day 1"Spaghetti Day 2 Baked Pankoed Chicken beasts and Pasta salad , the next day Some Turkey chili and Pasta salad the next and beaucoup homemade desserts and some RnR n binge watching and long convos.
 
It is a great Fall. We have cherry tomatoes that we finally use (they grow like weeds). We have made batches of sauce like once every two weeks this past month and should be able to do another this weekend. My Polish wife’s sauce’s may be better than my Italian mother’s was. Here is a roast picture pre-blending.

enough with the crazy talk. my cherry tomato sauce was on the sweet side. did not care for it much. do you mind sharing the polish recipe?

The southern Italians use sugar in their sauce. Gross.
I like mine cooked with pepperoni, sausage and meatballs. I think I'm making some sauce this weekend.

The bag of the dried cherriy tomatoes I gave to my friend tasted a bit like pepperoni. He told me yesterday at golf they were all gone now. Mutst’ve liked ‘em. Those don’t need no stinking sugar.
