NYS has made crossbow hunting legal for the entire bow season. It's new for this year. They hit SO much harder than bow's which to me is a no-brainer.

Even longtime bow hunters are getting them for that exact reason. Even a great buddy of mine who just 2 years ago swore he'd never get one! LoL

Another plus.

The guy who owns the local archery shop is awesome! Such a great guy.
He told me this new law has been the single best thing for his business. He, and his manufactures, cannot keep up with demand.
It's extremely rare I say something positive about NYS government, but here it is. Great job NYS.
