The first Wind Turbine Farm in NYS has been blown up after 25 years. Yes, the blades are supposedly being recycled, but the massive towers themselves are being taken to various landfills across the state. What's next? More turbines, solar panels, batteries? Time will ultimately tell the true cost of being "green".
