Yesterday I did the Butternut Valley Gravel Grinder, out near Oneonta, NY.

It was about 50 miles with 6,200' of climbing.

It was hard.

@Harvey 29er is the way to go in my opinion. Rolls over roots, logs and rocks better. Plus you get other big perks on the new bike like the dropper and one front chain ring. The dropper alone is a big advantage

Nice 17.5mi, 1,300ft ascent ride today with my wife. Nice casual pace with a few stops to enjoy the scenery. A ride that wouldn't have been possible without the turbo Levo's given the time constraint to make a family gathering.

So nice to have temps in the low 70s and low humidity. What a day!
