Winter Weather 22/23

Power outages are going to be a problem today, I heard a symphony of creaks and pops an hour ago. Once the wind picks up, game over.
This place tracks power outages. Looks like almost 1/3 of customers are out in Columbia County NY.

Is the snow heavy?

I look at totals, this year has had good storms and a bit less of the nickel and dime stuff that usually goes with a colder winter. In fact this winter was near record warmth overall which makes above normal snow even more impressive.
I'd take on old school cold nickel and dime winter over a global warming winter of epic dumps and epic meltdowns.

Just shoveled the sidewalk and steps. 4” west of Cuse. It ain’t wet, but sandy-like.
It’s tiny wind blown ❄️.
The big flakes probably got beat up banging into each other by the wind on the way down.

Moisture bombs in between meltdowns. Get used to it! SE Africa just got double slammed by the new record holder for most accumulated cyclone energy ever.
