There's a big storm barreling through the country late next week. Where it goes in our neck of the woods and what it will do is still up in the air.

That image was a 240 hour. Herb Stevens aside, it tells me that cold(er) air is not necessarily gone for good.

Yup, the below average in Texas is the storm I mentioned. It's going to drag some cold air right to the boarder next week. The question for us is where does it go from there?

What do we think about Sunday in the Cats? Thinking of making a day trip to Belle or Platty.
A) Will there be any snow left?
B) Will it be frozen solid? Forecast looks cloudy and colder, but temps still above freezing at least at the base:

It is absolutely pouring rain from Peekskill to the High Peaks right now. Thunder and lightning here in Saratoga County. Temps aren't looking to drop before 32 all week. Seems like a really bad omen. Totally bummed.
