Why was Belle late to open today??

Big Belle supporter here, but they (and it seems Gore) have some challenges after a big storm. Part of the issue may be they don't have a place to house the Gondi cars overnight (I think WF does).
Also, I have heard under new management, they have less folks on shifts, so perhaps that is a factor. Certainly a factor if as I have heard they reduced staff this year and you combine with pre-peak staffing with big dump and no protective infrastructure (not criticism - just relevant facts).

When he was dealing with the Gondy on yesterday I heard Bruce say "staff doesn't show up when it snows, but skiers always do". I get that, but maybe as a perk pay for winter tires and snow plowing for your staff?

Yeah, I did some poaching and there was plenty of terrain that was good to go. Then they started posting ski patrol at the top of the gondola, to keep people off the other 80% of the mountain. I was irate.
