Who's on the DL?

Went to a neighbors bonfire last night. Pretty much everyone there was a nordic skier.

I was speaking with Dick, he's older than me (70?) and has been nordic skiing for many decades.

He told me about his knee issues and I told him about my foot.

He told me it was crazy that I wasn't taking creatine, and also strongly recommend PT.

Does anyone have experience with creatine? Recommended? Is there any difference between brands?
I have lots of experience with PT. Get treatment for a few weeks, then do the exercises/stretches on you own.

I take 5gram every day
You do recover a little quicker. I bought it on Amazon. I’ll look through my Amazon to see if I can find what I bought zero flavor zero side effects just mix it with your favorite beverage.

Creatine and collagen peptides, helps with my workouts, also CBD oil as a topical and protein supplement. And I'm older than Dick 20 days shy of 3/4 century still dropping a knee.

This seemed to have good info on brain and body - sports scientist dude who is former pro triathlete. He seemed bullish: 10 min vid:

public service announcement: collagen peptides are best for connective tissue if in blood when working out, or 80% as good if within 30 min. After that, it is just healthy protein. So, I put it in my pre-run coffee (10g). Sounds wierd, tastes fine.

I feel like i've developed this thing where as long as I can use whatever hurts normally without favoring it.I use it gently and it helps it get better.
I was not expecting much. But now I am skiing with less pain and fewer painkillers.

Maybe I should put "skiing" in quotes.

When I skied with @Stu last week, he was stomping the pow on the sides of the trail.

Maybe I could have done it, but it didn't seem worth it.

I don't know much, but knowing that I don't know much is my superpower (if I have one). One thing I know is, listen to your body. And it almost always will look better in the morning (second one I stole from Colin Powell's 13 rules). Whatever it is.
