Whiteface Conditions

This was not the deal I was expecting. 🤠

Most importantly, SKI3 passholders will now get 50% off lift tickets at Mountain Collective resorts without blackout dates.
Interesting. However if lift tickets are $300 at many of the MC mountains not sure what that's really worth. Would rather just have a discount on the MC pass itself

Maybe some but even Jackson Hole had midweek tickets at $218 last season. I'm happy to get the bonus.

The $300 day tickets get headlines but really aren't the norm for destination resorts in general. Even those on the MC pass.

For someone who doesn't ski enough days to make Ikon passes worthwhile, getting in a few days at 50% off at an MC resort can be worthwhile in comparison to travel expenses.

Last season I didn't have Ikon or the MC pass. Instead I skied more than enough days to make good use of a Wolf Creek Senior Unlimited Pass, an Alta Senior Pass and a Taos Senior Value Pass out west. The Alta pass had the MC perk. For an Idaho ski safari for which I used the Indy Pass at Tamarack and Brundage to ski 5 days, the trip started with a few days at Sun Valley @ 50%. Helps that I'm over 65 and could get the senior rate. My two travel/ski buddies for that part of the trip used Ikon.
