Any word as to whether Hoyts and Lookout Below have a chance to be open in early February? Looks like there are good snowmaking temperatures between now and then.

The last few years I've been able to get up to Whiteface, I haven't caught the whole they are open. I've never skied Hoyts, and I want a rematch with Lookout Below.

The last time I skied Lookout Below was either the first or second year the trail was open. I didn't have the skills to do it, but I went anyway. I shouldn't have. But now I am a much better skier and I think I have what it takes.

They made snow on Lookout Below in December, but then it iced over, and has only been open during warm ups since. Hoyt's has everything set up, so it should be next on the list. Unfortunately it seems expecting it to be anything other than dead last in the rollout is a tall order.
