We skied Sunshine Village today. It was sunny and with temps in the low 20s (f) and it snowed about 8 inches last night. Conditions were primo.

This is Mt van Hoevenberg. It's the pit behind the 1980 biathlon range. This side of the trail system also has a decent amount of singletrack. One of my goals this summer is to finally do all the singletrack here.

Nice! Have fun! The views are just amazing in every direction! Canmore definitely seems like the place for good, modern condos. My wife and I stayed at the Moose Lodge in Banff and loved it--- very nice hotel and actually reasonably priced.

It was our first time to Banff and we're planning to go back next season. We liked Sunshine Village so much we might stay 2-3 nights at the SSV Mountain lodge. We only skied one day at Lake Louise as the snow was not great and the groomers were just too crowded even on a Friday. SSV seems to spread people out so much better in my opinion.

Have you visited the Fairmont Lake Louise? We did for après. OMG what a view! Literally took my breath away when we walked out the back of the hotel and seeing this in person for the first time!

Squeezed in a couple days in WA while out visiting family. Maybe a trip report will be incoming, but holy crap was it good. A few pictures from Stevens and Mission Ridge for those who like pictures.

While the backbowl at Stevens was a big improvement over the frontside, Mission Ridge was absolutely spectacular all around. Highly recommended.
