Where are you skiing this week?

All the way to Jay for just a day?

If I was going to do it, I'd probably stay in the Adk Friday and Saturday night, Ski Jay Saturday and Gore or Plattekill Sunday.

Or Jay Sat, Oak Sun, Gore Monday.

Based on your report, we got a deep but firm base. If it rains a bit, or doesn't, maybe you've got 8 inches on top Sat am? Maybe a little more with some Jay magic?

It is nuts I admit. Probably not worth it. I think of Feb as the time to drive to Jay, but maybe keep my powder dry.

Maybe end of Feb will be cold-ish.

Because I am back in Michigan I am going to my home hill of Caberfae Peaks and we will ski that Mole hill until our legs feel like it’s a mountain. Also going to be close to 40 degrees and sunny so burgers on the grill in the parking lot

ML242, Telemark Dave and I had big plans to meet at Mont Chilly on Saturday, which would have been an historic meetup. A four hour drive for ML, 3.5 for Dave and I, very Harvey-esque in concept. Sadly the weather has not cooperated, with rain, freezing rain and a temp drop Friday night. Life is too short to drive a long way to ski on shitty snow. Next time. ML should drive to Jay, it's closer!

ML txt'd me about Mont Chilly, I didn't know what he meant.

Let's do Jay in Feb, no passport needed (for Harv!)

Seriously. Would love to meet TD!

Thinking about Platty this weekend. My 12-yr-old and I still have those free passes from trail clearing day, and I'm kinda worried the snow isn't going to get any better this "winter"...

Usually don’t ski weekends, but as there’s more now open to help folks spread out, thinking of going to my home hills Lab/Song and ski one of those hills until the legs feel like they’re mountains. It’s gonna be close to 40 degrees and sunny Sunday so chicken-stew-soup with a pint of Allagash Ale as an aperitif should pair well.
