When was your last yard sale?

By being the first to crash out does that mean you are listed last of the DNFs?

First DNF of the day. Frustrating after driving 300 miles. But I've got a story to tell.

A few seasons ago on a spring, foggy low viz day I was skiing with my buddy and his son, Blue mountain in their infinite wisdom decided to seed bumps where they had never seeded them before and not mark with any signage or lollipops. I hit them fast on the bottom of big gs turn, held on for about 4 moguls before double ejecting and tomahawking 4-5 cartwheels. My friends kid and an instructor witnessed it and cam over, both white as ghosts - they thought was freaking dead, lol. Luckily just ended up with bruised butt cheek, if had been at the top of my turn I would have ended up in the woods/rocks and not fared so well. Spent the rest of the morning chasing down ski-po to get that shit marked!

when i was young, speed and flying off stuff was a what we did. if you wiped out and separated from both skies and poles you were buying the first round in the bar. good times.

My son went to Thunder Ridge for the first time last Friday. The place can get boring, quickly. So I asked him, did you find any kickers? Back in the day that was how we kept it from getting boring. Build kicker, go fast, jump far! Daffy-twister-spread, anyone?

Oh wow, you are kicking up the dust in my brain. Back when it was Big Birch and Potter’s had 5$ night tickets we would hockey stop on top of the face over and over just to make a little launch for us to fly. A couple good airs flew that were mostly credit cards until the red coats put the frown down. No daffy twister spreads at that place but I did throw a spread twist spread at the bottom of Ripcord at Mt Snow at the Grampy’s Spring run off in 198... never mind

I remember the gladiator bump contest on that trail. Mnt snow would sell beer at bottom of it. We would drink bear and watch the carnage. What a trail for a bump contest.
