What is your skiing history?

I used to think that everyone else had a picture perfect life and had their shit together.
The grass being greener syndrome began when grass began being green. (Similar to snow, as a ski-thing)
Best to get used to being in yer own skin and how it got that way.
It can be somewhat easier when ya age, due wrinkles&scars and/or experience.
Being thankful for whatever ya've got dealt helps, and knowing whatever makes ya happier and healthier.

Skiing can be a great escape from imperfect lives, snow can be an equalizer to someone like myself I have 3 herniated discs in my lower back from scaffolding giving way after non English speaking workers installed the scaffolding, I can make it down a slope after it might have been hard rolling out of bed, skiing is a sport where confidence helps tremendously so it’s can help some to be positive about what they can do
some people without confidence end up taking lessons their whole lives unable to move ahead without someone else’s confidence pushing them

Was there an issue with communication that led to your fall?

I can relate to this. For me the most painful thing about skiing is walking to the lift and standing in line. The actual skiing part is cake.

For me, the big thing is to try not to be too judgmental of others. I used to be that person, but a number of years ago, some events in my life changed that dramatically, and I've really changed with respect to judging others. That's not to say that I'm perfect in that regard, but I'm much better than I used to be.
I've learned that it's perfectly fine to disagree with someone, in part that's what makes the world go around. The only we can control is ourselves. Kind of like playing golf, all we can do is hit it then God takes over....lol

Skiing is magnificent and a total release !

Getting up in the am on dawn patrol in subzero temps , then driving an hr or two , then Schlepping shit across frozen ice rink parking lots and base areas and effing stairs ...uh NOT SO MUCH ...ugh

We can agree to disagree without being disagreeable .
Respect like Trust is EARNED every day and once broken is extremely difficult to restore
