What is your resort’s brand?

Brand as in identity- what defines them and differentiates them from other ski hills. I am wondering what other people’s opinions are because I think there’s a big disconnect between what we perceive as certain ski areas’ defining characteristics and what the people running and marketing them want them to be. For that matter what do you think is NYSB’s brand? As compared to other similar sites I mean. I imagine there’s probably a big difference in how locals and weekenders perceive some of these places too.

Belle is known as a beginner hill. I think that’s great, it keeps a lot of people away. Not many snooping around. More first tracks for me.

Yeah, WF is one I was thinking of as not really knowing their own brand. I agree with that description though. Greek too- I agree with what you wrote but I’m not sure what image they’re trying to project.

Lab/Song need to think about what image they want to present to the public. They’re awesome but if I didn’t participate in this forum I wouldn’t even know they exist

We used to be known for our racers we put out and for having an excellent ski school.

I agree that now it's hard to put a finger on what direction they want to head in. Too many moving parts now. I feel like they want to me known as a family resort. They seem to advertise in that direction and all their "activities" are kid friendly now. The skiers picnic isn't even a thing now.

Hunter...oh...i don't know...so many opinions on it. For me its the hardest mountain until you get to Killington or Magic. At least the West side is.

Hunters brand is Ski Hard and Party Hard, not necessarily in that order. Whether or not that’s for you, I think they know who their customer is. I give them credit. I could say the same for Mountain Creek.
