Today's Ride

i really was referring to the burliness of the full powered bike..the mid powered bikes feel more poppy and playful ... i'm not a weight weeny
Yeah, the 170 mm transition is big and burly. I like the idea of the lighter more nimble ride but….im still a dh guy.
 
Race was awesome - course was really good with top section pretty narly and ever changing as it was a new course and super dry so parts of the course got pretty torn up as weekend progressed.
Big spectator crowd. All in all a huge success.
 
First night ride of the season last night. Chilly, clear and calm winds...beautiful! Trail in this section had so many leaves we lost the trail for a bit.

Never in a million years would I have thought that I'd be playing in the woods at night at my age 😁

@Tjf1967 totally digging the 29er.

The single front chainring is brilliant. It's all you need for gears, it's lighter, and you get way more ground clearance.
