all from the trail except for the first one of the last set ( a sweet section of gravel from the drive to the trailhead, looks like some great off trail gravel routes as well)
Maybe I’ll get around to a proper TR as it was an arbitrary stop that deserves some attention as well as the backstory

As far as scenery the pics don’t tell half the story, a good portion of the trail paralleled And goes over a beautiful world class trophy trout brook (NOT. a VA term lol) but the humidity made any pics look like shit

Another new trail has been finished in Sterling Forest. A six mile masterpiece. It’s a loop that is a combo of machine and hand built. Stunning piece of work and worthy of a drive.

Warmer now than all of August but shorter days, 6 miles to go to get home, got there just a little past sunset.

I'm doing the same thing pushing my ride as late as possible to stay out of the sun, but not ride in the dark.

Have front and back flashing lights but always try to get back by sunset.
