55 miles of bicycle commuting found me here last night. You know it's a scorcher when people are swimming in the Hudson... or maybe thats just an uptown thing?

More people swim in the river than you might think but now isn’t the time. I wouldn’t even go out in my kayak after all the rain the last few days ... Water quality goes way way down with all the runoff. Those people are swimming in organic stew

Raw sewage yum, didn't a bunch of people get e.coli swimming in the river during a NYC Ironman a few years back? The whole river is a giant flowing Superfund site teeming with PCB's.

We swam at Croton as kids. Saw a fish that was at ~3 foot long. Water was far from being clear & clean.

Had an excuse to ride to Sloatsburg so I turned it into a big loop. The 17N, 287, 87 junction along with Harriman are a traffic cluster f*ck due to the ongoing PIP, 202 and RT6 closures.

2 inches of rain and the big log is gone.

The trail follows the stream downstream quite a bit and I looked for it and I didn't see it man it went a long distance.

Efff... drove back from Prospect Mt in a monsoon on Friday, drove to work in a monsoon today. When I observe the speed limit, it's bad out there.
