Titus Conditions

It's pretty chilly out there, so we are getting going slow, putting some cold wax on the skis, and we'll head out soon. Some hazy sunlight and light snow out there. All that is open are the trails with snowmaking, but they are skiing pretty darn good. Yesterday, Titusville and Sundance on the Upper Mt. were skiing wonderfully. We could get up to 6 inches in the next day which should open more terrain, but in the meantime it's good here. My wife and I ski on Stockli's, say hi if you see us.

I need to make my way up there
The time is coming soon.

Titus

Well, if you are thinking of skiing Titus this winter, this would be a good week. We got 10 inches over night, and a lot of terrain opened today. All that is still closed are some of the Glades, like Harvey's Road, but that should change soon. The skiing is just terrific, packed and loose powder, no crowds. It is cold, and going to stay that way, but that is of course keeping the snow dry. NOAA is calling for 7 inches through Tuesday, and to keep snowing after that.

4 and 6 today, just great skiing, but very cold. It's starting to snow, and if we get what is predicted the skiing this week will be as good as it gets here.

That's quite a map. IMO an amazing run.

Tomorrow at Titus will be all time. Would love to see some pics in this thread.
