The Sand Trap: for Players, Hackers and Duffers

strictly low rent dipshits
Compare and contrast with The Masters at Augusta prices.

A 1 day tournament pass for Bethpage was ~$750 but ya got unlimited food and drinks (non alcohol).
A 1 day tournament pass for Augusta was ~$140 but ya had to pay for the other stuff & wasn’t a ripoff.

Well I got a few rounds in for ya Warp, up to 80 for the year.(9mos)
Many new to me courses. Will keep golfin as long as they’re open.
How’s Warp’s camp?( and camps camp? And Tirol )

Warp passed.🙏
Gonna miss his comments in this thread.

Camp’s probably camping looking for a deer.
I’m going thru golf withdrawal symptoms but the snow that shows up helps.

I like hibernation season & ski stuff is ready.

Twas a great year for golfing after the spring rains stopped.
Mighta played around 80 rounds too to boot.
Good news is I started walking 18 again & got some sweet senior shafted woods (ditched hitting hybrids).
Might look into putting a senior shaft on the driver or getting a new driver with a senior flex shaft.

i had a great fall. found my swing just in time for the snow to fly. last round was the 4th. november always been my least favorite month. to cold for golf, to early to ski.

It sprinkled a couple times but didn’t get wet or need a jacket.
Missed putts on the high side as they don’t break as much if the greens are stickier due to moisture. (Hydrogen bonding).

Heard the shouts from a hole-in-one on an adjacent hole. Golfer who made the ace later shank bonked a car in the parking lot but it came back into play. Not many folks make an ace and whack a car in the same round.
Who had an educational video describing hydrogen bonding put up by a food skool on their BINGO card?

Since this is a ski forum having a golf thread and since skiing & golfing are complimentary outdoor sports thought sharing this dude’s channel may help some of y’all.
Been binge watching waiting patiently to get back in the saddle again ⛷️ 🏌️‍♂️.

Tis amazing & he replies to a lot of comments.
He works for Titleist. I wonder if he’s skied or is a dang boarder.

Sorry Tirol, been a long month since wife and I golfed last 2 days before thanksgiving. Between the cold ski and snow start to December and still missing Warp I’m gonna let this thread rest for a bit. Although wife mention “artificial golf” which I’m not too excited hitting off a mat into a wall.

Merry Christmas youall.

Tirolski, any interest in a mellow Upper Peninsula excursion?
Not a done deal but Bohemia pass is in hand and there are a few areas I have yet to ski up there.

I’d be interested in Michigan & Bohemia if I ever hit the road and go visiting folks out that way. Have a cousin working near Lake Michigan. The bumps in Michigan look like they’re up my alley.
Have fun. Stay safe.
