The Problem with the Wasatch

Well, I’m officially priced out of skiing at these places.

I’ll admit though, it’s just no longer on my list of priorities. The cost isn’t really worth it for me personally at this time.
The cost is now crazy. Going skiing used to be something I looked forward to.
Now it’s like going to the dentist. You have to make a appointment, the cost is about the same etc.
I’m with you az

I got a pass this year but went with a midweek with black out dates to save some money. I’ll be dropping the daughter off to go ski with friend on the weekends. The weekend crowds have done me in, I stopped going last year in the first week in February but had the Euro trip in March. I did catch the vid that last weekend in January. I probably skied 25 ish days total.

I don’t want to even purchase any gear this year.

I am getting a new bike soon though. My Enduro was stolen up here two weeks back which sucked but insurance is covering it so……new bike time! I could see doing some weekends riding in Vegas and Kingman this winter instead of skiing.

That Transition Sentinel sure looks fun.

Like I have mentioned on past posts. I am very crowd sensitive. I am off on Thurs now so I will ski then.
Sentinel is a beast. Go with the aluminum save lots of coin

This is one thing that living in rural NYS has a big advantage on. Skiing is cheap around here, granted, it's not gnarly skiing, but, you still have killer days with wicked amounts of shenanigans.

Especially when the lake effect machine is on.
The folks in Utah came to The Tug to study NY's.

I’m going with the carbon gx. My insurance check will cover it. It’s a 4 lb. difference which is quite a bit.

Camp can you throw some TbT snowmobile pics in the snowmobile thread?
