Can someone please explain why they are standing there. Was gonna say the same thing. Could be a massive mountain with a single chair and the ratio would be very low, but if the line looks like below then what is the point?

So that is their punishment? Seems fair. They bought the Epic Pass
Is that the infamous line that formed at the end of a big day on Vails backside. I think it was the only ride out of there.Wasn’t that some kind of logistical breakdown on a powder day last year? Like the lift was the only way to access the fresh snow and took too long to open or something like that?
Because these folks have spent so much of their lives in lines or battling traffic they don’t know any better? Can someone please explain why they are standing there.
Could also be little old Lab triple last year on a blue bird pow opening day with a 15 minute wait. Was gonna say the same thing. Could be a massive mountain with a single chair and the ratio would be very low, but if the line looks like below then what is the point?

That’s a glimpse of what Hell is .Wasn’t that some kind of logistical breakdown on a powder day last year? Like the lift was the only way to access the fresh snow and took too long to open or something like that?
This is over a decade old but putting it here for whatever someone else finds for comparative and historical purposes. There are subjective factors and extenuating circumstances but the only formula that works is acreage divided by uphill capacity. It needs to be consistent and simple.
