The Generations of Music

It ain’t music but it’s about music in The Center of The Upstate.
"Ya know it’s summer when they’re rockin Weedsport. Part 1."
There ain’t a part 2 cause, ya know, it's upstate.

Cool, thanks for posting. We used to get some pretty big names in little old Binghamton. I saw Dylan and Clapton at the Arena. I think we benefitted from being at the intersection of 81 and 17. When the Arena first opened concert tickets were a whopping $5.50! Pre Who catastrophe, general admission, can remember being crushed together on the ramp leading to the doors pre concert . Lucky no one was trampled to death there.

Remember seeing Yes, Santana and some others Rockin in Weedsport.
It was a great place for concerts. Thruway exit was maybe a mile,
Walked outta there once to a friends apartment in downtown Port Byron.
There’s a nice bike trail there now along the old Erie Canal.

Saw Little Feet on the golf course at St. Lawrence University and a couple years later was at Ole Miss whistlin Dixie.

This 60yr old metal head
started playing John Denver at work. This guy really captured the old mountain vibe in his music.
Shame he was a lousy pilot
