That August Itch

What Gorgonzola said… but then lower your expectations even more.
No come on, it's not that bad!
I brought my slalom skis which were fun, the second time I went with my park rat son which was also fun

@MC2 I don't remember there being any place, pocket beers are the way to go. It's a short lift ride and you're there less than 2 hrs - how many do you need lol? And it's 28d in there

Oh yeah, that’s right. It’s fucking loud as hell too. I agree pocket beers are the way to go. No place to stash a pack but you’ll get a locker that you could go back and forth to if you wanted I guess.

Ski stuff is still in the hallway at the top of the steps. Never put it away totally.
Snow should be here in 3 1/2 months or so if not sooner.
❤️ winter.

There is one corner of the woods across from my house where the leaves are turning. It happens every year. I love having seasons.

Ski magazine should show up in my mailbox soon. The whole concept of snow seems foreign now, despite the fact that it has been only four months since I have seen it.

So……feeling it yet?
Does making lodging reservations for a Dec ski trip out west count? Did that last week. Going back to Wolf Creek. :)

Of course, I started even earlier for Taos for Feb 2022. Made the lodging reservations in April because I'm sharing a ski in/out unit and those are very limited at TSV.

Meeting up with a few Ski Divas at Big SNOW in a couple weeks on the way home from Lake Placid. Will be the second Diva meetup there since June, with more planned for the fall.
