Sweet Cars and Trucks

Had a little brown VW rabbit I bought used from someone at the Columbus AFB while at Ole Miss. Fun little car. It made a few round trips to The UpState from Oxford. Finally rusted out after several winters up here. Lots of fun miles & with FWD, stick shift and snows was great in the snow unless it was so deep it bottomed out.
Yeah I had a new '79 chocolate Easter Bunny 😉 too . This Rabbit was also stick ran it till I got new '82' stick shift red Jetta also had new 85 stick shift Jetta .

Nice rides ,fairly quick but damn couldn't keep wheel covers on the damn things and after a couple yrs on both Jettas the rear door handles both seized up 😡 serious PIA

Finally ditched em in 88 for my first of 4 stick shift Saab turbos. Loved em till GM took over and effed up The Brand

Ran that little rabbit till it wasn’t worth farting around with fixin it anymore and moved on up to a brand new 5 speed 7 passenger FWD Caravan with a 2.2L engine the 2nd year they came out. Had to wind that thing up just to limp up a long hill. Many fun times with that one to boot. Put well over 200K miles on each. Dang rust ate em both.

It looks like that 1974 Cutlass is a real W30/Hurst. It has the Hurst shifter and the swivel bucket seats and I see the hurst logo on the b pillar. What a fun car.

Yes
It's the real deal. I couldn't see where it had taken any paint either. I believe it to be a real survivor. It runs next week. I'll be sure to watch it. I hope it sells!
