It looks like there's a wire lock connecting both sets of skis to the wooden fence. Is that a value add for Ski Totes -- they keep your planks from being stolen while you're in the lodge? Is there anything the totes can't do?!?

Yes. There’s a hole that you can put a cable through to lock them closed. I’d say they’ll take about a 75 mm ski

Ya got my tail wagging Mr Ripz.
Might have to start doing some winter digging thru the old stuff.
Know I had one of the white ones and would never have thrown it out.

I just jerry cradle ‘em under an arm or 2.
EZ’er on the shoulders.
Only had to go <40 yds at Lab this afternoon.
Couldn’t ski to the car cause of the road.

Never had a Ski Tote but did have one of those exact boot carriers. Totally forgot about that until I saw the picture.

I remember the boot carriers very well, as the tension was barely enough to keep the boots in place. If you set them down with any amount of force both boots would fall out and head in different directions . Of course this happened when the hottest girl in the lodge was looking in your direction

Sorry for being dense -- so the idea was that you'd carry your skis in one hand with the tote and your boots in the other hand with the Tyrolia carrier? They didn't have boot bags back then?
