Sunday River Insight

I can't believe that's the map they put out with the way the GFS updates have been looking but they do take into account all of the models I'm sure. Common mountain weather sense says that the peaks will squeeze out moisture from a storm of this size regardless of what the model forecasts say but who knows. It's funny most of us are eternal optimists as skiers but @jasonwx has me riding the pessimist train and hoping for the best these days

as a skier and weather watcher for 45 yrs. more often then not storms have disappointed me. so i have strong wait and see attitude. this is one of those systems.. who gets the most snow? the dunes on the Cape or the Mts of Maine?

I hear you, we all need a little real talk sometimes to keep us in check. On another note, what’s the vertical on those dunes? Hmmmm

Now I’m thinking about Montauk 5-8”

Thinking about making a trek to Sunday River this weekend to catch the storm. Does anyone have any insight on the mountain?
