I believe they are allowed to pump H2O outta the Hudson to filler up.
The Hudson’s now low in North Creek though.

The Hudson River will be under 3 feet at the gage at North Creek.

This weekend in the Adirondacks: Fire danger high as things get dry

Aside from some morning valley fog, it’s forecast to be a very pleasant, sunny, and dry weekend. Perhaps one of the nicest so far this summer.

My guess is that it's probably not an issue unless the river gets to low to draw on.

We need rain, big time. My pump protector kicked on tonight while I was doing a single load of laundry. I took a shower at 6:15 this morning and was gone all day. There was no water used in the house from the time I left for work until I came home. I an watering my outside plants with water collected in my dehumidifier.

And, yet, I drove by a woman watering her plants with a hose yesterday. I guess being on municipal water means you don't have to worry about the lack of water. Yet.

We get it from the finger lakes.
Cuse can pump it up from the Big O if needed.
They ain’t gonna go dry anytime soon.
CNY is nice in a drought as it usually rains too much.
Hope yer well gets filled back up soon.
 
Nice August nor'easter out in the Atlantic right now. Look for rain/storms to come from the east instead of the usual west.
 
Nice would be rain, not seeing it in my forecast.
