The stars finally aligned on Friday with clear blue skies at south-facing Corviglia and lots of leftovers from Wednesday's storm. Finally, on my fourth ski day there across two visits, this was the first time that I was able to actually see where I was going! Google Maps measures it at 5 miles wide x 5 miles deep but it felt bigger than that.
Without a guide or local friends, I followed people alongside marked trails whenever possible.
With the cold temps, even completely tracked-out cover had very little resistance and skied beautifully:

Late afternoon, I dug out/cleaned off my Citroën Cléo (an incomplete job, as you can see) and had Turkish food in the beautiful old town.
A perfect day!
