Spring Weather 2025

Still snowing lightly in Saranac Lake. Not enough for vsn Ho to reopen. Unsure of impact on Whiteface.

Ha yea, I don't think that would work so well with a 6 mo and 3 yo lol. Our dog is deathly afraid of cars (and thunder) since our camper accident a few years ago.

Funny you should say that though, last Sunday at Belle junior and I were taking a beer and snack break at the truck when a guy in the lot asks if he can get our opinion, there's a dog alone in the car next to him - should he call the cops? I gave him a puzzled look and asked if the dog was sick or distressed. We walked over to see a happy black lab chilling in the passenger seat. I explained that we see people leave dogs in their vehicles while skiing fairly regularly and come back to check and take them out every few runs, I don't think he was a dog guy and was quite aghast at this. Both the concerned citizen and the dog car pulled out before we finished our beers and a cop car circled the lot as we were walking back t the lift... I don't want that guy calling the cops on me lol
