First day of spring with snow!

It seemingly always snows on the first day of trout season, too.

It's really just telling you there is a chance for snow. When the numbers are big the chance is likely more.*

Looks like Friday night into Saturday.

*this is in no way an official interpretation. It's the way I personally use the long term GFS.

FWIW, considering the distance I have to travel, IMO, I do ok getting snow.

I'm not sure where any snow forecast for big snow exists, after this weekend it looks like a steady warm up through next weekend.

The GFS has definitely dialed back. Still looks like a good chance of snow friday night in the Adk.

One or two inches coming today. Yankees home opener was canceled a couple times back in the day because snow. One can always hope.

Any more detailed predictions on this weekends event shaping up into anything worthwhile? Considering making a run to the ADKs if Whiteface is going to score Saturday
