Spring is going to be a warm start, 50's and 60's for almost 2 weeks. My last runs are this week.

We need some rain, March has been very dry.

Brush, leaves, dormant grasses drying out. The water that’s out there has come from snowmelt. Central New York is nice in a short drought though.

The snow is melting fast now, earlier this week the low temps stopped that but now the low temps are in the 40's. With that and high near 70 Thursday, plus some rain, most snow will be gone.

I'll be on my backyard trout stream on the first. Caught this beauty last season about 50 yards downstream of my house.

Nice 5 lbs brown on a spinner.
