Just had a tornado warning here. If there was one I think it passed to the north though. There was some serious lightning and Thunder on the horizon but barely a drop of rain at my house

Crazy weather in the Adirondacks. Yesterdays daytime high of maybe 54, second day of "Summer". For comparison, it was warmer on Christmas day 2020, hit 58.

I bet the organizers of the Track & Field Olympic Trials in Oregon never anticipated having to delay events due to extreme heat. Temps well over 100. I remember what 105 felt like in Death Valley (after skiing at Mammoth in May 2018). Can't imagine that kind of heat combined with Pacific coast humidity.
