Not exactly my thing but they are doing something right. 6000 members and 600,000 post in just a few years.

How do they reward you for post? Generally everyone kind of "advertises their agenda" right? Give me an example of an agenda you see advertised there.

Not my experience with Tricia at all.
As a matter of fact 12 years ago when i had my openheart surgery she was extremely kind sending multiple messages and cards to me and my wife and send basket of fruit and some golf balls as a "motivator" . I always thought she was simply a very nice person , Phil i know little of , so have no real comment

As far as I know, they live in Reno. Tricia posted in the SkiTalk (formerly Pugski) thread about wildfires. There are quite a few members of that forum in the Tahoe area. One man already lost his cabin to the fire.

I just don't want to do the work or being in the position of begging you guys to buy our crap.

Seems like the farther Skiology goes down the road the more they seem to be accepting the STE model. (To me the big difference is they maintain strict moderation, but that's a different convo).

That whole thing doesn't appeal to me. I can make more money at work than I ever could selling diecuts and teeshirts.
