Song Conditions

Thanks for that, was wondering about the name.
Talked to Peter for a bit on the way to go skiing. He told me why it’s Heuga’s.
2nd place possibly was The Alpine. May give the naming prize for that one, allegedly.

Skied Song 2-6. ~1” new snow. Packed frozen granular skied better the more twas skied. Kids race team set gates on left side of Bali hi after they got out of school and right side skied better after folks edged it up. Low 30s, light wind, clouded up. No ice. Saw a few snow flakes too. There were more folks skiing when leaving than when started. No lines. Twas fun.

Was there last night too. 4 to 7. Nice to have the daylight. Good to see a crowd there too. Hope Peter extends night skiing during the season. He usually cuts it off about now.

Lab was closed yesterday so that could’ve increased folks at Song. Song’s closed today but both will be spinning till 9 Friday, allegedly.

Skied Song before the crack of noon till before four. Sunny, north breezy 25F, drizzle a couple days before made it firmer. Skied better after it got beat up some. Rapid transit but made ya turn. Not much time in the near future for fast conditions. There was an excellent tele skier ripping. Not very many folks later on.

Skied Song 9:30 till done around 3. Y’already know the weather. Bali Hai and Chopsticks were best. Did first time down Jupiter, and some laps on Diamond Cutter lift. No lines except once around 10:30 or so. Good vibes. Great day to ski. If ya couldn’t have fun skiing today, ya better find another thing to do to have fun.

Whole mountain skied well tonight. Not sure there's any more night skiing this season. Will be open this weekend and next week. Kid's are on spring break.

Damp and misty morning. Main triple running with only 4 trails with man made open. Lost all natural snow and the man made has shrunk quite a bit. Moonglow is toast but you can walk to Ottos and Jupiter. They're ungroomed, frozen and rough. Hopefully they soften this afternoon. Can't see this place open after today.
