I hope the summer has been going well for you. We're already looking forward to winter and if the Farmer's Almanac predictions for the Northeast hold true, we're going to be in for a great snowy winter. If that's not enough, we are officially bringing the Snow Triple Play to market this fall. The Snow Triple Play is a new multi-resort access product that gives purchasers 3 visits which can be used at any of our 15 mountain partners. All for one low price.

We launched the Snow Triple Play inspired by the fact that of the 11 Million plus active skiers and snowboarders, 73% are skiing 5 days or less a season. With most resort and other multi-resort products requiring 6-10 days of use to pay off, this product gives the majority of the market an affordable option to add some more skiing and riding days and variety to their winter plans. The best part is this product isn't just for beginners and new participants, any skier or snowboarder who is looking to add some more days and mountains to their season plans in the Northeast this winter should consider picking up a Snow Triple Play. Indy just announced there will be a Learn To Turn beginner pass to cover . . . 3 days at Indy locations that choose to participate. Not just lift tickets. Also includes lessons and rental gear.

A reaction to Snow Triple Play? Or simply that great minds think alike?

The Snow Triple Play locations are not on Indy, Epic, or Ikon.

Not for nothing but there are lots of individuals on here who still haven’t skied Plattekill. 169.99 divided by 3 is probably the cheapest single day lift access you will find. I would say cheaper than the free tickets handed at glade day even. Even the laziest lopper does more $56.66 worth of labor those days.

Keep in mind that the max use at one Triple Play location is 2 days. The idea is to get people just starting out on the slopes to check out at least two mountains.

It's a "pass" meant to encourage beginners who start at Big SNOW to check out a real mountain. Not transferable.

These days, even tickets are assigned to a person when bought in advance online. Many more small mountains have invested in RFID using hand scanners by Axess. The liftie doing the scanning can ask for name or birth year if the person doesn't seem to match the info that pops up on the scanner screen. As lifties using a tablet sometimes do when there is an RFID gate.
