Skiing and Surfing in the Same Day

Ha! My sister used to compete in the Modern Pentathlon. What a shit show that was!
The Tokyo Olympics’ women’s Modern Pentathlon was a shitshow.
German coach punched a horse. The German rider who was in the lead freaked out too.
Outlawed horse jumpin as part of the penthalon afterwards.
Better for all.

Ok, well not in the same day, but in one weekend I was able to surf on the East End of Long Island and ski in the Poconos. I know it not "the same day* but I'm claiming it!

I know people who live in the sea coast area of NH/Maine who do it pretty regularly. Morning surf close to home, drive to Wildcat, Black, Cannon or wherever for afternoon skiing.

If you broaden your idea of surfing to include whitewater, I’ve done it a bunch of times. When I lived in Warrensburg, would take paddling gear with me to Gore, hit up the Glen Wave on the way home.

Once this project https://instagram.com/millcityparkatfranklinfalls comes to full fruition, it will be even easier for NH surfers and paddlers to pull off.

Multi sport days sound exhausting.
You can ski here today, take your bike off the car after some runs and then ride down the Arizona Trail along the access road for a 1500 vertical foot descent. That’s a lot of gear loading effort for so so activities and Instagram posting or water cooler claiming.
How about playing Snow Polo and skiing the same day with a wee bit of Aspen's apres afterwards?
There’s lots of folks in Colorado that'll take care of the horses for ya.

Aspen is known for its energy inspiring powdered bumps!

No surfing for me (although one of our ski buds went surfing instead of skiing today),but did do a few tele runs this morning and a mixed surface gravel ride this afternoon…
