Season Passes

I don't like the new ORDA April deadline for the "cheapest" rate.
I do not want to pay for next season when this season is still in play.
This seems to becoming the new industry standard.
Monkey see - Monkey do.

I get the scenario for a new pass holder but not renewals.
I liked the August deadline.
This seems like the correct time and place to ask this...
I will be renewing my SKI3 Senior Season's pass. I bought it last year as an upgrade from my frequent skier card. Will it make any difference if I do it on GORE website or the Whiteface site? The price appears to be the same so what I am really asking, are there any difference in PERKS? I saw on the WFace site there was a WINTER scenic gondola ride perk which I knew nothing about when I purchased my Pass last year at Gore. Do I need to buy thru WFace to get that Winter Scenic Gondola perk? Can I assume all the other perks are the same if bought at either mountain? Thanks.

We will definitely use all of our Killington/Pico days, Sugarbush, maybe an early season day at Stratton. Will probably meet my brother's family at Sunnapee and/or Sugarloaf. Tremblant is always a good family trip and we hit Steamboat, etc for a trip out west.
When I had IKON, Sugarbush was my base, with occasional stops at Killington/Pico. I bought it for my week at Steamboat and a long weekend at Tremblant.

Last day to get an Ikon 2025-26 pass for the lowest price and the most F&F is April 17.

Get the most Buddy passes for Epic buying before April 13. (Don't shoot the messenger.)

The bonus day might go away mid-April for the Mountain Collective Pass but I wasn't paying close attention last spring since I didn't get Ikon or the MCP. I'm going to get Ikon plus MCP for next season, as I was doing for several seasons. Will be back to about 10 days at Taos and 10-14 days at Alta in April so that combination covers both reasonably well with plenty of flexibility for trips to other destination resorts. Already have Indy as an Add-on to a Massanutten pass (not bought yet, sales started April 1).

65 and over at Song/Lab is $410 & 80 and over is $205.
Ya get a buddy pass and $25gift card to Huega’s to boot.
Got my ski pass for Song/Lab for 25-26. Price deadline was the 15th.
Got ~30 days in for 24-25 skiing mostly weekdays & non Holidays.
Had a lot of fun.

Not renewing my old fart NYS SKI3 as didn’t use it even once.
Could get an infrequent skier card but most likely'll just pay as I go on some weekdays if it’s worthwhile making the trek.

Dude you have to make the trek to whiteface when Wilmington trail is open. Nothing wrong with Gore but you will be amazed at the sustained vert. It's a real treat you should make happen before you can't

Is Wilmington gonna be open this weekend?
My skiing friend said he was gonna take Good Friday off. Told him I’d consider going Friday. Tain’t gonna be open Friday.

I’ll make there sometime but skiing in the Dolomites is a higher priority.

I always crunch my numbers near the end of the season to see what makes sense for the following year. The FSC is a no brainer for us, low buy in cost and saved us 25% off retail, averaging $89/day. If you ski weekdays it makes even more sense...

Wilmington wasn't open Sunday so I and even the week before that it was only Hoyts. Hope to get there for Sunday but the webcam shows Mtn Run and Wilderness taking a big hit. With rain forecast for Friday night and Saturday it's questionable wether it's going to be worth it.

Checked “Whiteface Conditions” page of FB and there’s a poll for whether ya’d ski/ride this Friday if it was open.
70% have said “Yes" outta 130 entries.
Friday’s gonna have much better weather for turns ⛷️ 🏂 than Saturday.
Whataway to run an airline.
