RVs, Vans and Campers for Skiers

Oh and I came across this pic a few weeks ago from last May, so much going on there including our camper in the lot upper right if you zoom in

This is what a good friend of mine has and we have stayed in it many times while skiing. At night we keep the heat on the lowest setting, probably 40-50 degrees, which for sleeping is fine with me and it helps save the battery. When we get up he will start his truck while we have breakfast and get ready which also chargers the battery.

Update
After last year's RV ski trip with our Grand Design Imagine 18RBE I decided to add more insulation under the floor. I did this because the fresh water lines froze at 0 degrees F last winter on our last ski trip west. And while most people will never use a trailer for long when its that cold, we have done so for a couple of weeks in a row. Not having running water for that long is a REAL hassle. So I added heated wiring and insulation to the pipes, coated the inside of the steel frame with spray foam and added more insulation to the liner that seals the bottom. Unfortunately we haven't been able to get away, but the trailer has running water and is warm, in our driveway, no freezing pipes. The next trip into the real cold will be a bit more civilized.

IDK whether I'd camp in this bad boy, but it's a cool restomod someone brought to Cambridge back when I worked there. Porsche flat 6 in the engine room; disc brakes, and modern suspension bits.

I had a friend who had that same model, those captains chairs are more comfortable than they look!
