Red Rocks, CO: 09/18/22

Not a lot of days off between various concerts or events from April 1 all the way through Nov.
Oddly enough, we were there on one of the few days where there wasn't a concert or event that evening. It's great that they let visitors stay on the premises on show days until 2 pm, if I understood correctly.

Good to hear from a fellow former Buff. Because my father had moved out to Denver, I got in-state tuition but studying/living there was twice as expensive as my brothers who went to SUNY schools (Boulder wasn't cheap back then either). Still, was worth it.

True, Boulder wasn't cheap back then. I worked one summer on a construction crew, hot and dry, missed the lakes back east big time. Wish I had the $$$s back then to invest in real estate. Looked up a house me and 4 other guys rented back then for $500/month. Nothing fancy, split level, out on Table Mesa area. Sold in 2016 for about $350K, someone fixed it up with some high end appliances, flooring etc and sold it about a year ago for $980K. Took less than a month and went for $80K over listing price.

I hear you. Unless you're living in the mountains, summer was the season I especially missed the lack of lakes. Here's where I worked summers and during Broncos home games: the Zang Brewing Company restaurant in Denver, on the other side of I-25 from Mile High Stadium.
