Opening day.

Beautiful day. Cold but not frigid. Packed snow but not icy … or not very icy. Of course just the one run down from Blueberry to Village Green. Newfound Ridge to open soon probably.

Not sure how those new steps will work out. Going up is fine but it’s kinda tricky carrying skis down to the rack when you’re wearing ski boots.

They should have rubber mats. At least on one side.

I was thinking something along the line of truck lifts. Ya know, the kind on back of delivery trucks?

That railing is not up to code but it’s NH so there probably isn’t one.

I have no problem with the railing. Those stairs are gonna need something to provide a little traction when it’s icy though- which is a shame in a way. That’s beautiful workmanship.

So I’ve been to Ragged three times this week. Nothing major to report. ‘Cept the lift breaking down again but that always happens. Right?
