Post Your Camp Pics

Perfect sleeping weather
We've had some temps in the 40's here at night. So refreshing. The best time of year is right around the corner.
Yes! I love this time of year, getting up in the dark around 6 and in the 40's as the days become shorter? Not so much :D

In October I'll be in Kingman which is in the Mojave Desert. It's generally very comfortable there in October through the winter. I haven't done much hand building this past year so I'm stoked to do more of that but it's gonna hurt.

Camp will be in the small basin just beyond this new trail in the photo.

This is the brand new system I designed for the city of Kingman. It's not very big but it's right in the middle of the city and has incredible terrain. There's a lot of steep rolling slick rock stuff and the system is designed bike heavy for lot's of fun and challenge. It's a stacked looped system designed for small, quick session laps. There's also a connector to the historic downtown are that's trying to revitalize itself with nice restaurants and shops but is still struggling to support them with tourist traffic. I think this system should help them create traffic and bring in more tourist dollars. It's a huge honor and pleasure to help them with that. I'm super excited. I'll keep updating in here on the Today's Ride thread with new tread and build porn.

Here's a YouTube video of some of the trail already constructed by us two years ago.

Do they have to be current pics? I just recovered this from my parent's basement. Circa 1995, summer camp at Mt Hood, Glen Plake spotted.

Yesterday afternoon was one of the saddest day's I/we have had. We lost a family member, our camp. This year will be like none before, no camp, BUT we will do what we do. We'll be staying in the barn and living our life. Telling our stories, drinking beer and bourbon, playing cards, and talking about all the good times we've had at our beloved camp. [
