Purg is an awesome intermediate mountain too.

I had Purg in mind too as the town of Durango has a lot to offer but I guess I wanted to give my wife a taste, or at least some nice views of above tree line skiing. I also want to give the Durango area the attention it deserved rather than just a quick stop.

Word. Durango ties in really well with silverton and telluride.
