Plattekill Conditions

Top third is decent, definitely more cement than cream cheese as you get lower. Maybe I'll see you upstairs Harvey, orange jacket riding a board off the double

I assumed we be skiing all groomers, but it looks like with some fatter skis maybe dot dot dot...

Overlook boundary

Love the ski area boundary sign, read it. We spent most of the day skiing off Overlook. We named that whole wedge Cherry Pie.

Dean

Dean was on fire.

beer time

First chair until 3 without a break. Good day, thin cover in the woods, tough skiing.

Dean and Jason tele'd it all. I was survival skiing.

First time in my career I changed skis midday.

Snowed all day, it was nuking when I left, tomorrow should be good.

Didn't take many pics, rode 9 til 230. Spent! As Harvey said, thin cover.Low angle and upper elevation was key for the trees.groomers loosened up pretty quick. should be a great weekend especially with the sun in the forecast.

Tomorrow should be good. All the trails are covered and the groomers were excellent. We didn't hit anything on the natural trails and honestly not too much in the woods either. Still, probably recommend most stay out of the trees. If you insist on going in, as Camber said, stay high, it's less grabby. Skier traffic improves everything.

Camber... orange coat... did you make first chair? If so we spoke.

I'm not sure what that means but it looks dreamy...

I was trying to say we weren't hitting bottom on any trail natural or otherwise.

I switched to a fatter rockered ski and it made skiing much easier.

We should do a meet up.
