Plattekill Conditions

They cancelled last week. (choking sound...)
 
Beautiful day today. Excellent conditions all over the mountain. Started softening around 11. Very soft by 1. Skied onto the lift all day. I forgot how nice it is here.

Hope they announce sooner than later, people have to make plans/arrangements...
 
So, speaking of making arrangements. Where to sleep during this? My plan is to drive up Tuesday morning and ski Belleayre. If Plattekill is open Wednesday I'll head there, if not I'll do another day at Belleayre.

While I'd like to sleep somewhere out there, my concern is that all restaurants might close up early Tuesday leaving me very hungry. The safer bet is to sleep in Kingston, but then I get to drive back and forth.

Suggestions?
 
You probably don't want to be on the road Tuesday morning.

Anyone know if they have a rental Thursday? Sounds like worst case they don't open until Friday but it should remain largely untouched?
 
There’s a rental today and on Thursday. Wednesday is the opportunity- As long as Mother Nature delivers.
