I wonder which hill has a bigger payroll and overhead. Do you think operating costs have anything to do with ticket price for ORDA hills? Are they just indexing off competitors?

For a private business it would be irrational to price based on costs. You price to maximize revenue. Find the optimal place on the curve where the # of sales you lose by raising the price makes it less profitable to raise the price.

Admittedly a govt run operation may not price to maximize profit.

Could be a big win for ORDA... World cup stop for xc mountain biking at Mt Van Ho for next 3 years. They definitely have the double track, but singletrack not so much. They must be cutting new bike specific singletrack there next spring/summer.
