Here ya go. Latest board meeting video:
Scroll to 48:40 for lodges.
Then the lady board member from near Belle asked President luger specifically about the status of the Overlook lodge.
It’s at 1:01:30.
Then there was a question about the Ski Bowl lodge water...

This has prob been asked here before (maybe by me), but has anyone seen a detailed description or design drawings of the renovations of Overlook? I've looked online and still never been able to find anything.

They did have some pics and a timeline update in the latest ORDA board meeting video. Supposedly Discovery will be ready for start of season. Overlook will not, but apparently aiming to be complete sometime "this season." Video here, Belleayre lodge discussion starts at 53:30.

The only detail of the Overlook renovation that I’ve seen was the artist rendering with the lodge pole pines. Or maybe they’re tamaracks, not sure.

The new Disco kitchen looks like a fast food restaurant with those big screen menus and makes me nostalgic for the DEC years. With Overlook not finished I hope they get Sunset open again this year, it’s the last best place.

Pictures of the Belleayre Overlook Lodge. These were taken from a Gore/Belleayre FB group I'm in so I don't have any info, just wanted to share. The photos are from 9/28. I'm not in construction, so I can't speak to how long a project will take to complete from this stage, but it doesn't look good.

The Olympic Authority seeks information from qualified and experienced companies (Vendors) capable of providing professional services in the following areas:
  • Acoustics and sound system design
  • Audiovisual (A V) systems integration
  • Arena and performance lighting design
  • Performance space planning for large-scale concert venues

    The purpose of this RFI is to assess Vendor capabilities to support a variety of program needs at the Olympic Center (Venue) and related facilities.

    Potential scope of services includes, but is not limited to:
    • Design and specification of sound, lighting, and rigging systems for multiple
    configurations in the 1980 Arena
  • Sound and lighting solutions for the 1932 Rink
  • Sound and lighting design for the Lake Placid Conference Center Ballroom
  • Recommendations for Venue infrastructure upgrades, equipment, and integration strategies
Maybe they’ll give the Warner Bros mo money for The Shows.
