ORDA Funding

Just took a survey for Adirondacks, USA who I occasionally get emails from regarding activities in the Adirondacks. For the question, "Which places did you visit on your last trip?" There is almost every town listed except for North Creek. I made a comment at the end of the survey that I found it odd that it was omitted since it is the location of one of ORDA's, and one of the two largest ski areas in the Adirondacks. But then most of the board members of ORDA live in Lake Placid and wouldn't want to divert traffic away from there.

I am not sure, but I think North Creek was voted out of the Adirondack Park by the ORDA Board of Directors a number of decades ago.

Did you look at which organization sent the email? It was probably ROOST. They are an outfit that promote different towns that pay the their services.
