Mike Pratt brought extensive experience from his time managing Gore. He was familiar with the shortcomings of the ORDA mountains, and prioritized rectifying them with capital improvements.

So on brand for ORDA.

She was the Executive Director of the Adirondack Sports Council that has about 10 employees and a couple of million $ in revenue and was responsible for the lack of visitors and revenue during the WUG. ORDA had roughly 3400 employees and $80million in revenue last fiscal year. It seems she might lack the right experience to operate ORDA.

I guess there was nobody else available.
What a joke.

I don't have a dog in the ORDA CEO fight. However, I DON'T think Walden should take 100% of the blame for low spectator turnout / income generation in LP. 'Murricans care about winter sports exactly once every 4 years, when the Olympics roll around. Hockey lags behind the other major team sports in revenue and TV viewing.
